WEEK EIGHT REVIEW - DECENT WEEKEND
Burnley 2-1 Birmingham (5/4)
Barnsley 2-1 Ipswich (7/5)
Wolves 0-1 Pompey
Chelsea 2-0 Liverpool (6/5)
West Ham 2-2 Fulham
Three out of five in 'the DUB' and it so easily could have been a clean sweep. Wolves were denied a stonewall penalty when Mark Wilson blatantly handballed in the penalty area. Had that gone in who knows what might have happened? West Ham were 1-0 up at home to 10-man Fulham at half-time but threw it away with a woeful defensive performance in the second half.
Moving onto the 'Cheeky Punt', Ryan Giggs didn't play so that bet is void. Unfortunately, none of the other four players (Taylor, Lampard, Doyle, Nugent) managed to score so it was a bad weekend for this bet.
